Tara and I just got back from photographing Jillian and Tim’s wedding in Kelseyville. What an amazing family and wedding. We got there on Friday afternoon and made a few photographs at the party that their friends and family threw for them the evening before. The day of the wedding was simply beautiful–unseasonably cool! The wedding was held underneath two giant oak trees and the reception was at Tim’s parents house–”The Maes’ Nut Farm”

Thank you so much to all of you who made this beautiful event happen and thanks for having TJaye and I–we loved every minute of it. Here’s a few of our favorites:

Tara and I met Lauren and Marc in New Paltz, NY last October for their engagement session and after photographing them, we couldn’t wait for their wedding in North Lake Tahoe at Garwoods. We had such an amazing day in Tahoe — seemingly the first sunny/warm day of the season!!

So my good friend Riley and I went up to Donner Summit the other day for a bit of climbing and I was going to photograph Brooke and Mike in the evening. That morning I remembered that Brooke had climbed before and Mike hadn’t ever climbed outside so I invited them to come up and join us in the afternoon. The weather got progressively worse and there was more snow than I anticipated but much fun was had by us all watching Mike climb for the first time outside on his brand new shoes! Brooke forgot her shoes and had to power through the snow in her flip-flops–she’s burly! We explored the train tunnel above Snowshed wall and Riley worked the lights for me. Check out his work here.

Anthony and Jacqueline got married at Edgewood in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Thanks to Gary and Suzanne from JJ Entertainment for workin the tunes! We had amazing weather…clouds in the sky (rare for tahoe summers) and just a fantastic day.

Thank you guys so much, Tara and I had a blast and she almost peed her pants watching Anthony’s dance…so so RAD! Have a good trip back to Japan! Here’s a few of our favorites from your wedding.
