Mt. Watkins

I’ve always seen the summit of Mount Watkins from Olmstead Point and I’ve wanted to get to it from the road. Today Vernon and I figured out how to get out there and hung out for some photos on the summit. Amazing place….a good day away from editing…of course now they just get added into the queue! Now I’ve got the bug to actually climb the thing…I’m thinking the South Face Route or the Sheraton/Watkins? If I get the motivation and time….what a blog post that will be! Here’s a photo I took of Vernon checking out the view of Half Dome

planet seattle

okay so it’s a bit gimmicky, but I had to try this little trick with a panoramic photograph that I made in Seattle this summer. I have, in fact, created my own planet…with a little help from photoshop.
